How does Priority Call work?

Priority Call lets you know when calls are coming from up to six "VIP" telephone numbers that you have programmed into a caller list. When you receive a call from one of the numbers, your telephone will ring with a special ring

How do I turn Priority Call on and off?

  1. Pick up the receiver and listen for dial tone.
  2. Press *61 (Rotary users dial 1161).
  3. Press 3 (this works as a toggle to turn on and off).

How do I set up my Priority Call List?

  1. Pick up the receiver and listen for dial tone.
  2. Press *61 (Rotary users dial 1161).
  3. Press 0 to hear the instructions on how to add, remove or review the numbers on your list. If you are a new subscriber to Priority Call or have not entered any numbers on your Priority Call list, you will be instructed to add a number to your list in order to activate the service. The numbers on your list must include the area code and telephone number.
