Priority Forward allows only the most important calls to be forwarded,
giving you control over who can reach you and where you can be reached.
Terms and Conditions
Priority Forward works with a Priority Forward list that you create and you control.
Dialing the Priority Forward activation code will give you detailed instructions that guide you
through your Priority Forward service options. The instructions will help you add or delete and turn
your Priority Forward service on and off.
You can have up to six numbers on your Priority Forward list and you can change the numbers
on your list as often as you like. All numbers on your list require the area code and telephone
number. The numbers on your list must be within the Custom Calling PLUS service area.
You have the ability to turn Priority Forward on and off at any time. When Priority Forward
is on, calls from the numbers on your list will be forwarded to a number that you've designated.
Other calls will ring at your home. When Priority Forward is turned off, calls from the numbers
on your list will ring as normal.
You can forward calls to any number you choose. If calls are transferred to a long-distance
number, you will be charged the long distance cost.
Priority Forward when activated will override Call Forwarding. Priority Forward will
take precedence over Priority Call but not Call Block if the same telephone number appears
on the screening list.
If the customer subscribes to Priority Forward and Repeat Dialing and the calling party
has their telephone number on a Priority Forward list that is activated, the Priority Forward
feature overrides the customer with the Repeat Dialing feature and the call is rejected.
If Repeat Dialing is in progress when Priority Forward is activated, the special ringback
(from Repeat Dialing) will be on the customer' s access line and not on the remote telephone
number answering the forwarded calls.
Priority Forward can be used instead of Call Block by forwarding calls to the Call
Forwarding Number for Voice Messaging.
If the customer subscribes to Priority Forward and Call Block and the calling party
is on both lists, the Call Block feature overrides the Priority Forward feature and the call will be rejected.
If the customer subscribes to Priority Forward and Priority Call features and the calling
party has their telephone number on a Priority Forward list that is activated, the call will
only ring at the remote location. The call will not have the special ring pattern at the
remote location.
If the customer subscribes to Priority Forward and Call Waiting features and
Priority Forward is activated, the Call Waiting feature will forward any calls
appearing on the customer's Priority Forward list to the remote telephone number
answering the Priority Forward calls.
The Call Waiting feature will not work while the customer is updating their Priority Forward list.
The Priority Forward feature always overrides the Call Forwarding variable feature.
The Speed Calling feature can be used to dial the remote telephone number that will answer the Priority Forward calls.
If the customer subscribes to Priority Forward and Call Return and a call return
call is in progress and Priority Forward is activated, the special ring-back will ring
at the customer' s telephone number, not the remote telephone number where the calls have been priority forwarded to.
When using the Call Return feature and the telephone number the customer is returning
the call to has the customer's telephone number on their Priority Forward list, the customer
will receive an announcement rejecting the call. The customer may hang up and redial the call
using normal procedures and the call will then be priority forwarded.
If the customer subscribes to Priority Forward and Caller ID and the calling party's telephone
number appears on the customer's Priority Forward list, the incoming call will display on the Caller
ID unit where the calls are forwarded to (if the forwarded to customer has a Caller ID unit), not
on the customer's Caller ID unit.
