Block all telephone calls to your home phone, 24 hours a day, just during dinner,
or any time that calls are inconvenient to you or your family. Callers must
be within the Cincinnati Bell service area to have their numbers blocked.
Terms and Conditions
Call Block works with a Call Block list that you create and control. Dialing the
Call Block activation code will give you detailed instructions to guide you through
your Call Block service options. The instructions will help you add or delete numbers
on your list, review your list and turn your Call Block service on and off.
You can have up to six numbers on your Call block list. You can change the numbers as
often as you like. All numbers on your list require the area code and telephone number.
The numbers on your list must be within the Custom Calling PLUS service areas.
You have the ability to turn Call Block on and off at any time. When Call Block is on,
blocked callers will hear a recorded message that says, "The party you have called is not
taking calls at this time." You will not hear the phone ring. When Call Block is turned off,
calls from the numbers on your Call Block list will ring through normally.
Call Block can block future calls from the phone number of the last incoming call even
if you don't know the number because the caller has used Per Call Number Privacy.
NOTE:
If you decided to add your last caller to your Call Block list without knowing the
phone number, it may come up as a Private Entry. This indicates that your last caller
used Per Call Number Privacy before calling you. You may still add a Private Entry to
your list, you just won't know the telephone number. Your Call Block service will still work.
