Cincinnati Bell to Provide Services in ABC's Extreme Makeover: Home Edition Local Building Project

CINCINNATI - July 9, 2008 - Cincinnati Bell Inc. (NYSE: CBB) announced today it is participating in the local building project for ABC's Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. The project began today when the Akers family of West Chester, Ohio, learned that their home will be completely remodeled in just seven days.

According to producers of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, the Akers family-parents Greg and Ginger and children Christian, Brooke, and Faith-live in a bi-level home in West Chester, Ohio. The children, who attend local schools and participate in local athletics, battle life-threatening conditions. Christian has been diagnosed with Crohn's disease, and both Brooke and Faith have spinal muscular atrophy (SMA) and can move around only by wheelchair or if someone carries them.

The goal of the building project is to create an environment for the Akers family that is more accessible and provides the family with a brighter and more comfortable future. The episode featuring the Akers family will air during the sixth season of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, which is scheduled to begin on September 28.
